Ethical issues

Gordon and I have been thinking that perhaps we haven't paid enough 
attention to ethical issues. Two come to mind:
1. Having a notice up-front, warning members that the stuff on the site 
may be used for research purposes, and quotes in publications, but with 
all necessary measures made to conceal actual identities.
2. Which parts of the site should be visible to non-members? e.g., here 
in the UK, putting kids' pictures on the web is a serious issue.
