I have checked: # apt-cache search emacspeak returns 4 packages, among them 'emacspeak' and 'emacspeak-ss', # apt-get remove emacspeak and emacspeak-ss says they are not installed on my system, the other two 'eflite' and 'yasr' are not installed either...
