After some trial-and-error testing, I can report the following for my experience with Arabic: 1. The Arabic font will display only if I select from the options menu "Options" - "Mule" - "Set Font/Fontset" - "Misc" - "10x20" I don't know if this is the intended behavior, or why this is required. 2. The Arabic letters will display only if, under the "Bidi" menu, "Enable auto composition" is not checked. Of course, the characters are displayed but not combined. This leads me to think something is wrong with my emacs. However, there were no errors while building it. Any suggestions? -- Michael Blaustein [email protected] TAKAHASHI Naoto writes: > Sorry to have kept you waiting so long. Emacs with Arabic capability > is finally available.
