I'm using Emacs straight from the Arch repo. I have a few packages from 
MELPA installed which automatically added themselves to the load path, 
but the rest of the load path is only what Emacs itself adds.

proj.el does not have an eieio-defclass-autoload for ede/proj-obj but 
not requiring it in .emacs doesn't appear to matter.
