Syncing of ECB windows

At the moment I am having the problem that I have to manually execute 
the "sync ECB windows" command from the menu. The methods buffer is very 
often going blank, but is filled with information after syncing the ECB 
windows. My ECB settings are as follows:

Any ideas what might be wrong? I am using GNU Emacs 22.2.1.
