I'm also getting this error in the latest snap. Specifically: ecb-analyse.el:354:1:Error: Symbol's value as variable is void: filename ecb-navigate.el:62:1:Error: Symbol's value as variable is void: filename Unfortunately, my limited lisp debugging skills don't indicate what the exact problem is. I find this on both the 2.40 release as well as the latest snapshot. This is against Emacs 23.2.
