Yeah, so egg on my face.

The error message is;

'Contacting host: www.radiofrance.fr:443'

But this function doesn't actually check www.radiofrance.fr.  It checks
api.radiofrance.fr.

IOW, I was looking in the wrong place.  Went to the function that actually
fetchs from www.radiofrance.fr, added 'nil t nil' after the callback, and
all is right with the world.

Glad that the problem was my own stupidity instead of an actual bug in
Emacs.

You may return to your regularly scheduled programming.
