Folks, it is possible that the author, now cc'd on this thread and who is a key contributor of hand-written code to Emacs, merely used Claude to automate the git work and nothing more so the mere mention of the word Claude may have no implication for the sanctity of the Emacs code base. I recommend reserving further speculation and commentary until Yuan explains.
