And then there's the option of running a computer in "the cloud" and
routing your traffic through that and at least your IP address won't be
tied to your physical location from time to time.

Anonymizing your Internet traffic beyond IP address is an orthogonal
concern; e.g., manage your http cookies, manage your browser "fingerprint",
manage your user ids and email addresses, etc.

It's all work.
