State of 0.9

As far as I am concerned, this is ready for release.  It appears to
work with XEmacs, though probably the error messages when the icons
can't be found will be less than ingenious.

I can't really test the desktop package support for XEmacs since
XEmacs is unhappy about the coding systems from files saved with
Emacs.

Icons are currently not customizable.  I am not in the mood to do
anything about this, though.  I want to have this out.

Showstopper is that since some resynchronization with AUCTeX's build
stuff that installation will go into an unexpected directory.  Not
good.

Once that is fixed, I think I should like to release.
