Hi, if I use ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/emacs-21 --with-emacs=/usr/local/emacs-21/bin/emacs then installation of the whole preview-latex package (images and stuff) will be done directly in /usr/local/emacs-21/site-lisp instead of a subdirectory of it. Given that the generated (and not installed) preview-latex.el explicitly tells Emacs about the path where preview is supposed to be located, this seems weird. We have pretty much the same configuration with regard to AUCTeX: generally visible tex-site.el, AUCTeX sitting in a subdirectory placed by tex-site.el into the path. So I think we should probably just do it in the same manner with preview-latex.el and the preview directory. -- David Kastrup, Kriemhildstr. 15, 44793 Bochum ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
