Maybe my mail server or something.  But then replies to mailing list
posts should not reach me before the posting itself, should they?

Sunsite does a pretty good job of filtering spam and passing the rest
on for moderation to me in a reasonably comfortable way.  The
preview-latex list is quite more of a nuisance in that regard: while
they filter pretty well these days, the moderation is connected with
much larger delays and with web access.  In addition, I have fought
the settings of the lists for about the last half year because it
censored pretty much _every_ posting, even those of subscribers, and
even those automatically forwarded from preview-bugs to preview-devel.
Which meant that I had to approve every reply of myself on the bugs
list two times, with different web pages, different passwords (which
the password manager of firefox does not know how to deal with).

Anyway, since preview-latex is moving into AUCTeX soon, I am thinking
of closing down the preview-latex lists at one time.  Maybe one
should, after all, move the mailing lists to gnu.org, but I have no
experience with their mail servers yet.  At least currently
emacs-devel seems to be rather fast and reliable, but this has not
always been the case.  And there is a fair amount of SPAM going
through, fake watches and medicamentation mostly.  I'd probably make
an AUCTeX list moderated for non-subscribers, which is mostly the case
for the AUCTeX list (the AUCTeX list is moderated via mails, and when
approving a post I can also auto-approve future mails from the same
source, which is convenient).
