I think most people discussing emacs on the Mac TeX mailing list want to
discuss the use of emacs on the Mac, not the development. So a mailing list
with the words mac, emacs and users in its name is more appropriate. If you
don't want this list to be used for this purpose, another list with
mac-emacs-users or similar in its name has to be created.
