Developing XSL transformations

Semi-so.  For an idea of the depth of the problem, think about what a
DTD for a <some-DTD>-to-<well-formed HTML> style sheet would look
like.  Where do <xsl:Element> elements go?  What is the content of a
<xsl:template>?

Furthermore, XSL stylesheets may transform to *any* kind of output.
TeX, for example, wouldn't have anything to do with the kind of
support PSGML can offer.

I haven't tried to do it, and you may be expecting something much more
modest, but I'm afraid a content-aware XSL editor would go far beyond
psgml's capabilities (as a project).


That said, some approximation in the UI between xslide and psgml would
be desirable.  Especially Element insertion and deletion happens
frequently and may be made to behave more alike.  Some local-set-key
coding in the xslide-mode-hook should get you ahead on the keystrokes,
at least.
