RE: Global folding?

John,

As far as I know there's only the View menu that you can use to
fild/unfold an element and its contents (similar to outlook-mode).  If
you add a comment before every chapter for example, this is very handy
to collapse chapters and use the comments to know where you are (the
title being invisible after the collapse).  Hope this helps.
