To you, because you know how much time you've spent on this.  But to
"license newbies", it may look like you're creating your own, or
deliberating proliferating by specifically mentioning the CCSA
license, which is not a traditional Emacs license.

That would do, but I had in mind something more like

    "Please consider redistributing under similarly permissive terms.
    If you would prefer a particular license, please give strong
    consideration to using one of the 'traditional' Emacs licenses to
    make code and text sharing as easy as possible.  Remember that
    copyleft licenses are usually not compatible with each other, so
    that choosing a license that 'does just what you want it to do' is
    likely to inhibit others from sharing code with you."
