Mmmh.  It's been about 20 months since the blogger package was discussed
the last time IIRC, see date in the "Samuel Mikes wrote" line above.

Has something new happened, what did I miss?  Adrian, could you expand a
bit on the context, what's up?

Not that I would have anything against the blogger package, but when I
posted the above almost 2 years ago, it was not meant to be an
indefinitely open invitation.  And Norbert is the authority on these
packages things nowadays anyway; IMHO an ancient initial "welcome" from
me without anything really happening after that should not count as much
without re-examination.
