Before-save-hook

Hi all,

I'm looking for a way to tabify C-code files when I open them, and
untabify them before they are saved.
It seems gnu-emacs have a before-save-hook I could use, but xemacs does
not.

I'm a die-hard xemacs user (switched to xemacs from gosling). I'd hate
to switch.

Any ideas how to achieve this tabify/untabify with xemacs?
