About a week ago I noticed that "xemacs-news" had been omitted from my
page of XEmacs lists to moderate. When I went to check it, there were
about 400 messages in the queue, and the web interface broke down (for
reasons I don't understand). After some study, this morning I figured
out how to access the mailman database from the command line, and
discarded the spam while releasing the genuine messages that got held
for one reason or another. I'm pretty sure that all the genuine
messages were properly released.

Some of the messages were dated as early as May 18; this lag is
entirely due to my error, and does not indicate a problem with anybody
else's mail system. Sorry for the mixup.
