Sure.  My point was that to the best of my knowledge there generally
isn't a way to get that information on a TTY, and I don't understand
what "0" is supposed to mean when compiling---it should be an error to
compile that value into code.  If GNU Emacs has a way, I'll take a
look and find out how to adapt it.
