Special keys with AltGr on German keyboard

Hi all,

I have a strange problem with Windows XP Professional using any version of
xemacs (i.e. native or cygwin port).

Any combination of AltGr to obtain "{", "}", etc. fails. But in a cygwin bash
shell or an xterm the combination works.

I do not have the same problem with Windows 2000, or Windows NT. As far as I
can see relevent registry values are equivalent.

Anyone can help?
