Sorry, I forgot to include this in my message, but I do load un-define and
get no Warnings/Errors while loading xemacs.

Well, suppose its not working in xemacs. Is there any other way to recode
string from internal to say UTF-8 (or UCS-4) encoding before passing it to
font display function?
