more flaky behaviour of xemacs on NT

More flaky behaviour:

Any program that requires curses-like behaviour spawned off a shell - edit for example -
causes xemacs to go into shock and the terminal behind the shell to lock up...

hm. both of these bugs (this one and not being able to run GUIs under the shell) 
seriously limit the use of shells on win32.... I'm finding that I'm hitting 'cmd' a lot - 
when I should be integrating the GUI into my xemacs use.

ps - newbie questions - is there a help document that sort of eases the transition 
between developers on UNIX and developers on NT using xemacs? For example, I'd like to 
be able to say something equivalent to: 

gvim `find . -name "muttrc" -print`

ie: open up all of the muttrc files in a given directory, or:

gvim `grep <pattern> -rl .`;

to open up all files with a given pattern in them?


Or maybe a keybinding list (with definitions), so that any given time I'm using xemacs, 
I can see exactly what I can do?
