Cut and paste from XEmacs to Windows Apps

Hello.

I am running XEmacs 21.4.14 on Cygwin (CYGWIN_NT-5.0 rabbithole 1.5.5(0.94/3/2))
and Windows 2000 SP4 (Emacs: system-configuration-options="--with-dragndrop --with-x=no").  This Emacs version is from the netinstaller.

I am having problems cutting and pasting between Emacs and Windows applications.  It doesn't work in either direction.  However, I can start another version of Emacs and cut and paste between those.

I do know that this has worked for me in the past, but I'm not sure whether it broke with an Emacs upgrade or Service Pack upgrade or what.  (I have tried to rebuild XEmacs locally, but have been unable to get dumps of xemacs.exe from temacs.exe that actually work.)


Does anyone have any pointers for me?
