Yeah, I do like it as an HASL since it is of a manageable size and gives 
both sides a chance to crush their opponent, in the Brits' case just for a 
short while.

Sorry I don't have an answer to your rule question, but at least I can
say I played through the scenarios several months back with a pbem
opponent. So, at least there are ~some~ people who still play ABtF.

Personally, I thought it was a great HASL.
