Had the same after installing my wintron. It turned out to be the wiring to the focus/screen block. One wire was sitting loose in it's shrinktube. Any change in beam current (especially such as with the ds explosion!) will create a large voltage drop over this bad connection. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, March 29, 2005 6:11 PM Subject: Re: VECTOR: Star Wars "bloom" problem with a twist:Update > > My experience with a blooming problem has been that the HV board was the > problem. > My game bloomed in test mode when the grid was displayed. > It could be a tube issue but I'm more inclined to say it is an HV problem. > > Paul > > > > > Tom Bombaci > <[email protected] > m> To > Sent by: [email protected] > owner-vectorlist@ cc > vectorlist.org > Subject > Re: VECTOR: Star Wars "bloom" > 03/29/2005 10:14 problem with a twist:Update > AM > > > Please respond to > vectorlist@vector > list.org > > > > > > > The picture does not bloom in test mode when the grid is shown.
