I seem to remember that Flash MX has the ability to embed actual flash
movies as GUI elements.  There's an API available to you in actionscript
that can call functions exported by MX.  You might be able to use
actionscript to automate some of your workflow.  You could even possibly
interact with perforce using the sockets interface or the web interface from
a flash movie.
