RE: Fonts

GDI++ is good for this sort of thing.  It has some nice options (special
effects) that can be used when "printing" the glyphs into an image.

We have someting that does this already actually - its almost identical.
I
was really hoping for something that could add extra effects such as
variable
width outlining, shadowing etc. I't looks like I will have to roll my
own
here.
