Is it possible to enable direct OpenGL rendering to a non-local display, e.g. over VNC or NX or X11 server forwarding? The reason I even ask is that I remember reading about client-server architecture in one of the OpenGL books but I may be vastly wrong thinking this would be something like the X11 client server model. Does anybody know of something like this or can point me in the right direction?
