Is it possible to enable direct OpenGL rendering to a non-local
display, e.g. over VNC or NX or X11 server forwarding?

The reason I even ask is that I remember reading about client-server
architecture in one of the OpenGL books but I may be vastly wrong
thinking this would be something like the X11 client server model.

Does anybody know of something like this or can point me in the right
direction?

Thanks,
Roland
