Hello all,

I apologize for posting this matter in these forums, but I don't know of a
better place to post this.

I am looking for people to test my game. The beta (almost) version can be
downloaded (24MB zipped) from here.

http://www.atmansoftware.com/beta/io_beta_nov_21.zip

There isn't an installer. Simply download, unzip and click on the executable
to play the game.

Information regarding the game can be found here

http://www.atmangames.com/games/io/index.html

To elaborate, my name is thomas Kuriakose. I started atman software some
years ago and have been working on this game titled io.

io is a 3d side-scroller with a WASD + point-and-click control mechanism.
The gameplay is mostly hiding in the dark, take cover, run, aim, shoot,
pickup stuff, rinse and repeat.

Technically, the game requires Windows XP, OpenGL, OpenAL, DirectInput, Cg
shaders, 500MB HDD space, 256MB RAM, keyboard and a mouse with 2 buttons
and a scroll wheel.

I was wondering if anyone could run the game on their windows machines and
let me know

 - of any technical issues faced.

 - was the game fast enough to play with all the effects on/off?

 - is the control mechanism intuitive?

 - was there a long learning curve to play the game?

 - is there any part of the game/software that you think should be improved
and how?

Apart from these, any and all suggestions/criticisms are more than welcome.

I do realize that the last question is a ticking bomb from a developer's
perspective, but I'm just curious.

Also note the textures in the game are placeholders. If you do intend to
test the game and provide feedback,

email me at : [email protected]

The only reward I can offer for your generosity is listing your name in the
credits section of the game. :)

Thank you in advance,

 -tom.
