Hi! I don't see Microsoft deprecating 32-bit applications in the near future as too many Enterprise customers rely on legacy applications which might be 32-bit only, so once they go that route I expect they will announce this change early enough (yes, I do give them that much credit :-)). Then again, how much time do you think will need to be invested before we can provide stable 64-bit builds? -Adrian On 15.06.2018 20:26, Eugene Sandulenko wrote: > I agree. > > Once Microsoft truly announce the 32-bit apps as deprecated, only then it will make sense to invest time into the port. > > > Eugene > > On Fri, 15 Jun 2018 at 12:16, raziel_nosgoth <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: > > I dont think its a good idea to speculate about possible future steps of os developers and depend the build strategy > on it. > > Why not simply wait, see what really happens and act accordingly. > > I mean, it wont be magic to provide 64bit builds then, but it *will* be more work to do it now and adapt it later > again. > > Just my 2ct. > > Take care, > > Hubert > > Mit Samsung Galaxy Smartphone gesendet. > > -------- Ursprüngliche Nachricht -------- > Von: Lothar Serra Mari <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>> > Datum: 14.06.18 08:49 (GMT+01:00) > An: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> > Betreff: [Scummvm-devel] ScummVM, Windows and 64 bit > > Hi Team, > > as you might have heard, Apple is phasing out support for 32-bit > applications on macOS in future versions and has already started the > deprecation period. > > What's your opinion on starting to provide official 64-bit builds for > Windows too?
