Maybe not the language syntax, but the CLR, Mono portability and reflection
open up some interesting possibilities.

Anyway, my point was that it seemed that one of your suggestions was that
Lua should be used because it was the most popular language, which, to me,
doesn't seem like a convincing argument. That said, if you want to hire
scripting staff, Lua is a nice choice because lots of people "have
knowledge" of it. -- And the "have knowledge" is in quotes because
scripters, as Doug points out, don't always know how or why to follow the
programmer rules (i.e. too slow, uses too much memory, creates too much
garbage, unnecessarily complex, etc).

You know I think I might have heard that somewhere as well, although I can't
where; that they invented some C++ style language to replace it to use
internally. But I've also seem the document Fabian posted and they are using
GOAL still, so don't know what happened there.
