Miguel, my view is you chose to be rude because I didn't happen to read up on every detail of your Mono universe, on a day that frankly I had other things to do. It's not a given to me that I would want to incorporate Mono into a Windows-only development toolchain. It's great that Mono's out there, but we are not all cross-platform developers all the time. Incorporating a variety of implementations into a toolchain has advantages and disadvantages. Yes I had a genuine interest in your answer, not the least of which was to see if you accept that Mono isn't everything to everybody, but also in what cases some developers think MS + Mono is more compelling than MS alone. From a tools standpoint, MS ships an interpreter for F# out of the box, in Visual Studio 2010. This was also just one laundry list item as to why I think F# is a better scripting language than C#.
