Cripes, I love the doom and gloomers. Hell, maybe we should give up any attempts at persuing technological advances and crawl back into caves. The United States is built on innovation and discovery. It's the only way to maintain our advantage in a world market. If we stopped trying every time there was a mishap, we'd be as bad off as many of the third world nations out there. If not for our push for space, we would not a great many of the household items the world takes for granted today. Heck, this internet we use, the planes that fly, the cars we drive, the microwave ovens we cook with ... a LOT of stuff was invented, discovered, or improved by our push into space. To give up because of an accident. Sheesh, it boggles the mind. Those astronauts are safer where they are than half the drivers on the road today. Maybe we should "ground" every car that has had a piece fall off and see how many cars are still driving. If at first you don't succeed, quit, is that it? Incredible. We need to keep pushing and keep trying. If astronauts die, that's regrettable. Fix the problem and try again and KEEP trying. THAT'S the human spirit at work. -- Bill Highfield St Cloud, Florida, USA! Top Choice Videos and Music ~12,000VHS ~4,000DVD ~2,000CD in stock! We special order & We ship ANYWHERE!
