Um, Bill. I provided links to back up what I said. I do not agree to provide links to back up your convenient restatement of what you wish I said. You still have to back up your contentions in the first place.

Please leave off the straw men. You've already been called on them. They are just as irrelevant now as they were a few hours ago.

cheers,
Clark

Clark,

And I want to see the study you site where it shows ANY levee system
would hold back a 20ft storm surge, a Cat5 hurricane, and the floods
that came. The simple fact is, they could not. You could have built
the levees twice as high, and the same result would have occurred.

And had a hurricane this massive wiped out New Orleans during the
Clinton administration, would you have been so quick to blame the Kosovo
operation and the President? Of course not.

George Bush is NOT one of my heros. I disagree with him on a great many
levels from immigration reform to policing our borders to excessive
domestic spending. But he did not cause the hurricane, and he did not
cause the aftermath. The Mayor of NO and the Governor of LA are the
onces who botched this operation and caused the high loss of life.
