themselves caught on?

It strikes me that this is political correctness taken too far.

It certainly is because it also means that ministers will be obliged to bless homosexual partnerships. The next step will be making preaching against homosexuality a crime. This is almost as serious as the Bill of Religious Tolerance before it got watered down.
Seems to me, as a Christian, we are going to be breaking one law after another before too long.
