In that case your GM could probably process the turn as was and *then* do the replacement. :-)

That of course would be a matter for the judgekeepers to decide. I suspect that there are a number of 
judgekeepers who would prefer not to get that involved with the day to day running of games. By way of a 
parallel I am not aware of Ray having to second guess any rollback decision made here on Cat23. I think that it 
is better to trust to the competance of GMs for the most part rather than impose rules on them.
