If name was a problem how did Redscape was born and flourished? I don't think the name is a problem. It never was. The name did not impede it to born grow. It is an intriguing name, and it is a strong name. This group will not exist if it changes the name. It is easy to simply create a yahoo group and putting it a dippy name. Try doing it and see how many people join. Cat23 have this power somehow. With a good website and organized lits, itwill flourish again still as cat23.
