There are both pros and cons. The pros are more
obvious, but there's no reason that I have to demote
the Cat23 link on the Worldmasters homepage just
because the site moves to a new URL. The cat23.org
domain is available. Since we know where cat23.com
goes, I don't think there'd be problems getting a link
from there. ;-)

Hosting is a separate issue from domain registration.
I'm quite willing to host another domain, with very
relaxed bandwidth and storage allowances, and can do
either a basic Joomla set up or continue working on
the current content. My system is under active
development, however, so the other hosting arrangement
would be better if there was another volunteer to
maintain it. Once something moves off my network, it's
out of sight and out of mind.

I'm only trying to get some feedback before I put more
time into it. If it's live and I'm doing the work,
it'll get done quick. When it was dead or if it turns
out that people willing to put their money (or time)
where their mouth is have other preferences then I can
accommodate. I'm nothing but flexible. I think Cat23
is a great thing and I want it to be a continuing
success.

I've been getting hits on stale DipWorld and Cat23
links since the worldmasters.net site went back up.
It's no problem to redirect them all. I venture to say
that the site is so broken that I should redirect all
hits on worldmasters.net/Cat23... or /cat23 to a
separate domain or subdomain. In fact, let's make that
official. Either someone donates a domain or I'll use
cat23.worldmasters.net and do just that. It won't fix
links to cat23.com, but it will effectively eliminate
404 errors for links that point to the Cat23 directory
on worldmasters.net. 

If you register a domain, point the A records to
24.249.190.10 and make the mail servers: 

mail.worldmasters.net
mail.thingswithwingsgifts.com

(In order of preference, use a lower number for the
first than for the second.)

If someone volunteers to maintain the site and you opt
for the other hosting then that host can give you the
records to use for that host.
