BLACK SEA CONFLICT LOOMS IN EASTERN EUROPE - Reports from London 
Times bureau agents in Sevastopol and Ankara confirm suspicions 
already simmering among the diplomatic corps that a naval conflict is 
shaping up in the Black Sea, with the potential to spill onto land in 
another, bloodier iteration of the Crimean War. Reports suggest that 
shipyards in both cities are preparing to launch newly christened 
destroyers in 1902.

SWEDES CALL FOR ENGLISH INTERVENTION! A recent Swedish referendum 
shows strong defiance of German and Russian colonial intentions. 
Swedes appear to be following the lead of their Norwegian neighbors 
in calling for English naval forces to protect their nation from 
imperialistic intentions.

GALICIAN GAMBIT! Military manoevers on both the northern and southern 
borders of Galicia point towards a clash of armies in the region 
within the coming year - Galicians have begun to pack up their homes 
and seek solace as refugees in nearby Bohemia. German authorities 
have begun to plan for massive relief efforts to support the exodus.
