WAR REACHES THIRD CONTINENT!
(New York) Speaking from his New York office space, Tunisian Prime 
Minister Isa Nowae expressed sorrow that the conflict in Europe has 
now spread into the northern portions of Africa.  "We are distressed 
that the Italian government has decided to ignore our pleas for 
peace.  We can only hope that the issue is settled quickly."  U.S. 
President Wilson vowed that no U.S. forces would be sent into what he 
termed "a needless foreign war."  He urged all warring powers to 
attend a summit to discuss terms for a general cease fire.  To date, 
there has been no response.

BRITISH ADMIRALTY LAUNCHES INVESTIGATION!
(Scapa Flow) The British First Lord of the Admiralty today announced 
that a full investigation into Admiralty procurement practices would 
be launched, despite assertions by the Prime Minister yesterday that 
such action was unnecessary.  The investigation comes following news 
reports earlier this week that the newest British battle cruisers 
were in fact based on a Turkish design.  The allegation that the 
designs were actually obtained in Constantinople and smuggled to 
London through diplomatic couriers proved too much for the Admiralty 
to ignore.  The opposition party claims that the allegations are 
simply a ruse to shift blame for recent naval reverses away from 
Admiralty training practices, which the opposition claims have been 
lax for years.

GM Notes:
An interesting turn, to be sure.  I'm not privy to the negotiations, 
of course, but I could swear I saw the glint of a dagger or two.

Please continue to be careful about the "Nor" abbreviation.  That's 
twice now that it has been used successfully, but it is dangerous.

Jonathan, please get those retreats to me as soon as you can, so as 
not to delay the adjustment turn.  After adjustment, you'll have 
plenty of time to work on the Spring, as shown above.
