I don't know why some players remain convinced that their subjective view of the game enables them to so much more reliably detect cheating than the moderator's view, which includes press between all parties and IP addresses. News flash... Of course it looks like players are colluding with one another. They are! Players, even those otherwise qualified, are not in a position to distinguish whether the collusion they detect is in game or out of game. If they think they can tell from the player seat whether another player is cheating then they are not qualified to moderate a game. Also, USDP has a conflict resolution policy: Any player who becomes aware that any other player or GameMaster is acting in violation of these rules, intentionally or otherwise, has a positive obligation to immediately inform the GameMaster (or, in the case of perceived violation by the GameMaster, the judgekeeper). In other words, accusing other players or the GM of cheating serves no reasonable in-game purpose because any actual suspicion of cheating must immediately be reported. Accusing the GM of collusion with players to any other party than the judgekeeper should be grounds for removal. Signoff Chris -- IT security in 2020 will be less about protecting you from traditional bad guys, and more about protecting corporate business models from you. -- Bruce Schneier On Dec 20, 2010 5:20 PM, "Been Chissled" <[email protected]> wrote: I gues he doesn't have the time to take this seriously. I think you have a system that show if something is from the same system and if not you no longer have the time to check into it. I ask everyone that has any power here to look into this. Italy and Austria in game 244 are in a fix. Whatever I will not be playing more Owles games until I get an apology from Thorin. The majority of house rules are to keep people from cheating. Ask for them to be inforced and you would think you asked for a kidney. I am done.... Happy holidays to all. Hope I don't get kicked out I love this game but this is crap. --- In [email protected], "thorinmunro" <thorinmunro@...> wrote: > > Broadcast message ...
