And an ally (or in most cases - revenge throws) have really nothing to do
with the semi's. Am I going to go out of my way to punnish a player who go a
solo in a prior round. Sorry, can't be bothered. I can hold an opinion about
the value of their solo but thats about it.

Actually, I kind of like the thread about players going for "unnecessary
solos". I find this thread amusing when I recall some of the old threads
about scoring systems way back before WM02 started. There was a distinct
camp that held up the solo as the only goal of a game, and that it should be
rewarded as such and that the value of draws should be diminished (and
therefore in effect punnished.)
