Yes, nothing is stopping anyone from adding to documentation or anything else. But as I stated previously, contributing takes many forms. And "talking about stuff" seems to me rather dismissive. I'll go back to "rolling up one's sleeves" is different for all of us. And I'm certainly in agreement that if someone just opens a topic in the forum and says "hey do this" without any serious thought, then FG should ask that person to qualify what he's asking for, to provide some real justification, to talk about what effort was put in that led to that "demand." There is nothing wrong with that. I believe that is the point of the discussions here. The FG project should be able to take critique and criticism from testing and analysis on all levels and "talking about stuff" should result in some kinds of resolutions or maybe even consensus or at least the notion that it's a serious topic. I still maintain that the aim is to improve FG overall. But I think the notion that posting is just aimed at "talking about stuff" comes off as a rather defensive, thin skinned response to serious topics.
