Ignore the UI, that=E2=80=99s all going in the bin. :) But aside from =
the UI, I=E2=80=99d expect there is no ALS stuff on the rendering side, =
since the shaders, passes are just fundamentally different. Hmmm.

My suspicion is that you have some issues with the clouds which are =
machine- or GPU-dependent, so probably some local investigation is =
needed. One area we know about is upper limits on some GPU resources =
such as 3D textures, it=E2=80=99s possible your driver is coming lower =
than some current value.=20

However, if you=E2=80=99d prefer to disable, I think you can just do a =
quick patch to make the fgClouds construction in environment_mgr =
optional (and then ensure the various Update/init calls there do a null =
check). That should get you working (with no clouds, of course).
