Arzaan,

  Which FG user are you running?

  I somewhat modified the 787 (with a couple of clues from the forum), 
and have been flying it since. I run the CVS version of FGFS.

  I can't remember everything I've modified, but you're welcome to the 
relevant files (think it was just the main and perhaps -set XMLs and the 
autopilot XML) if you like. If you're happy with that, let me know and 
I'll mail them to you :-)
