Paraglider Model

Hello,

I'm new to flightgear. I just managed to compile and install the whole
stuff. As I'm also a real paraglider pilot (para pro stage 5) I'm especcially
interested in the paraglider model.

As I have seen, the simulation is really far away from the real behaviour.
There are several things in the simulation that really dont match any "sort of"
reality.

1.) the pilot is always hanging straight down due to the pendulum effect

2.) the airfoil is most of the time (in regular flying state) time horizontal.
The sinking rate and the forward speed make the angle of attack for the wing.

I want to improve the (or even start over with a new) simulation model.

Somewhere I have read that in FG it is possible to simulate an airplane only
by geometrical description of the wing. But I've not found any further
documentation on it.

How can I proceed ? Is there a tutorial for creating flight models?

Who can join me ? Who is interested in more realistic behaviour of the
paraglider model ?

Who can help me ? Who has experience with creating flight models?

Best Regards

Thomas Pantzer
