Well, as promised to all the people I've bugged for help, now that I
can successfully build scenery, I wrote up my notes on all the things
I had to do to get there, beyond what the CVS copy of the docs say.
In other words, my writeup indicates where the docs were incorrect or
came up short, and notes possible pitfalls.  So it's sort of like
commentary in the margins of David Megginson's docs.  I put it up on
the Wiki just this evening.
