Well actually the base name minus the chunk number created by the "chop.pl" utility. xdiv and ydiv are the grid size in the lon and lat direction respectively. (x0,y0) .. (x3, y3) are the coordinates (probably in lat/lon?) of the photo area to create. This creates a hole in the default scenery and creates an object that files that hole. The object has the photo texture applied. The reason for the xdiv/ydiv is so that you can chop larger images up into chunks that fit within video card limits (i.e. 256x256 pixels for the voodoo card I was using at the time.)
