Here’s a screenshot of the Messages window/tab: http://files.quintilianus.eu/misc/freeciv.png This was a multiplayer game in 2.5.1, both the server and client compiled from source earlier, both on Linux systems. Client in use was the GTK3 client. Note how the unit name is translated (“Kundschafter” is the German translation for “Explorer”), but the rest of the message isn’t. I also got other messages than this particular one untranslatedly (e.g. “You found 50 gold”). I don’t remember which ones exactly, but I can make a list later when I find someone for a multiplayer game again :-) Thinking about it, I think it was mainly (only?) the Messages window where I got these untranslated messages. I would have to confirm that again, though. Sorry for the vague information, I was sending the email while I was playing, which probably distracted me too much from a proper bug report... I’ll try to provide more information later.
